Accessibility statement

Most of the people I serve are over seventy. A website they cannot read is not much help to anyone.

Compass Senior Transitions works to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA as a practical standard. I test with a keyboard, at enlarged text sizes, and on phones, because that is how families actually reach me.

What I commit to

  • Body text sized for older eyes, with generous line spacing and strong contrast
  • Every page reachable and usable with a keyboard alone
  • Buttons and links sized for hands that are not always steady
  • Descriptive text on images and clear labels on every form field
  • Headings in order, so screen readers can move through a page sensibly
  • Printable guides in PDF form for families who prefer paper

Where I may fall short

Some third party content, such as a community brochure or a partner scheduling tool, is outside my control. If any of it blocks you, tell me and I will read it to you, email it in another format, or handle the step for you over the phone.

Tell me and I will fix it

If a page is hard to read or use, call 303-919-1665 or email eric.breslin@compass.com. Please mention the page and what happened. I aim to respond within two business days, and there is never any need to apologize for asking.
